Los controladores de conmutación de CC a CC PMIC (circuito integrado de administración de energía) son circuitos integrados de regulación de voltaje que se utilizan en circuitos de alta eficiencia configurados para generar voltajes de suministro de salida por encima (aumento o aumento) o por debajo (reducción o reducción) del suministro de entrada. Otras topologías pueden incluir; buck-boost, flyback, forward, cuk, SEPIC, puente completo, medio puente y push-pull. Se diferencian de los reguladores lineales en que requieren voltajes mínimos y "queman" el exceso de voltaje.
