Un condensador es un dispositivo electrónico pasivo que almacena carga eléctrica. Los condensadores cerámicos constan de dos o más capas alternas de material cerámico como dieléctrico y capas metálicas que actúan como electrodos no polarizados. Las aplicaciones incluyen protección automotriz, bypass, desacoplamiento, filtrado, RF y ESD. Las versiones de orificio pasante suelen tener forma de disco o "gota" con dos conductores.
